This shinai bag is handcrafted using traditional kimono fabric.
Only a limited number of pieces can be made from a single kimono.

Some kimono have been lovingly worn, while others have never been worn and carefully preserved over time.

Each piece has quietly rested for years, having completed its original role, while still holding its inherent beauty as a textile.

This product begins with carefully receiving each kimono and gently unpicking every seam by hand.

In this slow and attentive process, the fabric is returned to its original form before being given a new purpose.

Rather than preserving the past as it is, each piece is reimagined—allowing its story to continue in a new form as a shinai bag.

The fabric used for the main body is carefully selected and imported directly from Japan.

The bag can hold up to three shinai.

To provide not only beauty but also practicality for everyday practice, the interior is lined with durable 10oz canvas fabric.

The bottom portion is reinforced with synthetic leather for added durability.

This bag is designed without a shoulder strap, keeping a clean and traditional silhouette.

The fabric used for this bag has been carefully repurposed from dismantled kimono garments.
